Modern Wound Care: Assessment, Treatment and Clinical Management​

The training programme “Modern Wound Care: Assessment, Treatment and Clinical Management” is designed for healthcare and care professionals who wish to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in the management of acute and chronic wounds.

Through focused theoretical training, practical exercises and case studies, participants will learn how to assess wounds correctly, identify early signs of infection, apply safe cleansing and antiseptic techniques, and select the appropriate dressing according to each patient’s needs.

Special emphasis is placed on the management of chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot wounds, venous ulcers and arterial ulcers. The programme aims to support wound healing, prevent complications and improve the overall quality of care provided

  • introduction to wound care and the stages of wound healing,

  • clinical wound assessment and infection recognition,

  • cleansing and antiseptic techniques,

  • types of dressings and correct application,

  • management of pressure ulcers, diabetic foot wounds and vascular ulcers,

  • practical training and case studies.
